July 29: Last Day of FRUKUS-2012 Sea Phase

The last phase of the exercise will take half of the day, and then the ships will start the trip to St. Petersburg.
The ships will carry out episodes by pairs. French frigate De Grasse and British destroyer HMS York will inspect a "violator" vessel acted by Russian tug MB-119 first. At the same time, the Task Group 2 comprising Russian frigate Yaroslav Mudry and American cruiser USS Normandy will practice maneuvers on searching and rescuing of a man overboard. Then the task groups will shift each other.
Salvage of a "damaged" ship will be the last episode of the international exercise. Ships will render assistance to each other within the task groups.
Upon termination of the closing episode, the FRUKUS-2012 participants in line ahead will move towards the Russia's "maritime capital" St. Petersburg led by frigate Yaroslav Mudry. As is planned, the trip will take less than a day – all ships are supposed to arrive at the entrance buoy of the Big Kronshtadt Harbor by 10 am June 30.
