Pacific Fleet (PF) measurement ship Marshall Krylov headed by Capt 1 Rank Igor Shalyna returned to homebase Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky after completion of special tasks at sea. Through two weeks of deployment, the ship has passed over 2,000 nautical miles.

Research Ship Marshall Krylov Accomplished Special Tasks at Sea

Marshall Krylov was tasked to record telemetry data of ballistic missile launches carried out by PF submarines and firing drills held by PF corvettes.
Except for primary tasks, the crew held an anti-terror drill countering attack of fast-speed motorboats, a damage control drill, underway ship security drill, etc. In total, there were about 12 onboard exercises carried out at sea.
According to the ship's commanding officer Capt 1 Rank Igor Shalyna, the crew displayed high qualification and accomplished the mission in full. Upon returning to the base, the ship will replenish supplies and pass regular maintenance.
