Baltic Fleet Commander Met with German Consul General

Official meeting of Baltic Fleet (BF) Commander Vice Admiral Viktor Kravchuk and German Consul General in Kaliningrad Rolf Friedrich Krause took place in Baltic Fleet HQ.

At the meeting, the parties exchanged greetings and marked increasing number of contacts between BF and German Navy. The officials expressed intentions to continue close military cooperation and traced prospects for further relations.

German Consul General in Kaliningrad Rolf Friedrich Krause took over the office from his predecessor Aristide Emil Fenster in Sept 2012.

In the period of 2000-2012, BF ships called at German ports 17 times. In their turn, German naval mariners visited BF bases 8 times. Through recent 10 years, mutual visits of military delegations and warships have become a tradition.
