Deputy Consul General of Japan in St. Petersburg Mr. Ko Murabe made a donation to the Central Naval Museum. It is 13 copies of drawings showing particular phases of battle held by Russian cruiser Varyag and gunboat Koreyets against Japanese squadron near Korean port Chemulpo on Jan 27, 1904.

The course of action was drawn by an eyewitness staying ashore. Original drawings were kept in Japanese field staff, and now belong to a resident of Fuji. He donated copies of those drawings to Central Naval Museum "hoping they would be helpful in studying of that historical period".
