RF Navy Large amphibious ship returns to home base
09/14/2007 Large amphibious ship Cesar Kunikov of the Russian Black Sea Fleet returned from its voyage in the Mediterranean Sea to the home port Sebastopol, Crimea. It went through various self-defence missions training. The naval ship had called the French port of Cannes. The visit was timed to coincide with the Festival of Russian Culture held there. The main event of the visit was a concert of the orchestra of sailors of the Black See fleet in the Palace of Festivals and on the Croisette Embankment. The crew of the Russian naval ship also took part in joint training exercises with a frigate of the French navy.Source:
