Russian destroyer Marshal Shaposhnikov celebrates anniversary

02/03/2009
The flag of the Russian Navy was raised on the Udaloy class destroyer Marshal Shaposhnikov 22 years ago on February 2, 1986. The crew of the ship, which is commanded by Captain First Class Andrei Kuznetsov, has much to be proud of, such as the tens of miles sailed, including along with foreign ships, as well as the tens of recovery missions.

On the day of the anniversary of the warship, its crew was busy preparing for its next mission out to sea. All celebrations for the occasion were therefore postponed to a later date. All member s of the crew of this great warship consider serving on it a great honor. Now let’s wish them all solid health, family happiness, and good luck.
