Zvezdochka to service Chinese 956E class warships

The Zvezdochka shipbuilding factory (Severodvinsk) has signed an agreement with the Chinese Navy to service the latter’s 956E class warships, a spokesman for the factory said.

Zvezdochka has given no details, but has noted that a group of specialists form the factory will visit China in the near future to put the final touches on the technical aspects of the deal.

Zvezdochka recently secured the right to seek out opportunities to service 956Eclass warships owned by foreign countries.
