Admiral Kuznetsov’s battle group reaches Atlantic
02/10/2009The Russian heavy aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov and its battle group have begun their mission in the Atlantic, Ria Novosti reported.
The Admiral Kuznetsov, the antisubmarine ship Admiral Chabanenko, the accompanying ships Nikolai Chiker and Sergei Osipov have sailed past Gibraltar and are now moving into the Celtic Sea. During the mission, the rescue tow ship Nikolai Chiker will visit Lisbon.
