BSF ships performed tasks at sea

Black Sea Fleet's tactical group consisted of large ASW ship Kerch and frigate Pytlivy performed training tasks at BSF naval range; the drill was under general control of Capt 1 rank Oleg Krivorog, ASW brigade commander, said Thursday BSF Information and Public Relation Service.

"In particular, the ships trained cooperative maneuvering, carried out drill on nuclear and chemical defense, performed artillery firing at towed dummy", says the press release.

Besides, in accordance with training plan, large ASW ship Kerch and frigate Pytlivy worked out occurrence drill on air defense and fired at parachute drop dummy which simulated aerial target. To provide the drill, two ASW aircrafts Be-12 of BSF naval aviation were used.

All scheduled tasks were completed in full, summarized Capt 1 rank Alexander Chesnokov, acting Director of BSF Training Department.
