BSF should leave Crimea in 2017 – 66.1% experts

Most of Ukrainian experts consider Russia's Black Sea Fleet should be withdrawn from Crimea in 2017, informs UNIAN referring to expert poll conducted by Razumkov Center.
In particular, this opinion is shared by 66.1% experts who nonetheless insist on the importance of strict adherence to corresponding bilateral agreements. Every sixth respondent (16.5%) supports a compromise formula – transformation of BSF base in Crimea into UN-controlled international (anti-terror) center till 2017. Only 1.8% pollees are radically spirited insisting on the necessity of immediate withdrawal of BSF from Ukrainian territory.
According to Mikhail Pashkov, director for international programs of Razumkov Center, the issues of BSF should be solved within jural sphere but not to become the venture. Bilateral agreements must be strictly fulfilled. In his opinion, the compromise variant with transformation of BSF base into international center is most noteworthy.
The expert poll was conducted by Razumkov Center in Feb 8-19, 2010. Totally, 109 experts were questioned; among them were members of parliament, representatives of central and regional executive authorities, state and nongovernmental research organizations in Kiev and Ukrainian regions, members of media.
