Russia develops a new-gen destroyer

Project development of new-gen stealth destroyer for Russian Navy has been recently started, reports Interfax-AVN referring to source in military industry.
"Currently, research work related to new ocean-going ship is in progress; technical documentation of the project is being executed. This process will last for about 30 months", said the interviewee.
According to him, prospective ship which project number has not been appointed yet will be a multifunctional vessel; that will affect the ship's armament.
