Russian president made staff replacements in Navy command

On Sept 21 Russian president Dmitry Medvedev made staff changes in the Navy Command, reported the Kremlin press service.
The president appointed Rear Admiral Valery Kulikov to the post of Commander, Navy Combat Training Dept instead of Vice Admiral Sergei Kuzmin. Previously, Kulikov was acting commander of Caspian Flotilla.
Medvedev also dismissed Capt 1 rank Vasily Shevchenko, the head of Pacific Fleet Technical Services Dept and Rear Admiral Anatoly Lipinsky, Novorossiysk Naval Base Commander.
