Group of British military advisors and instructors will conduct trainings at Ukrainian Coast Guard Center (Feodosiya) in 2011; Ukrainian servicemen will be trained how to conduct sweep operations, seize buildings, and inspect civilians.

That was reported by Ukrainian defense ministry official newspaper Flot Ukrainy.

British marines are already training their Ukrainian counterparts.

As for Ukrainian military, co-operation program will make possible to draw Ukrainian marines into EU rotational force.

Ukrainians have already demonstrated their training ranges, educational facilities of Marine Training Center, capabilities and tasks of Ukrainian Navy's units.

The parties detailed issues of training course to be given by British military experts for Ukrainian marines in the first quarter of 2011. The program provides working with standard documents, accomplishment of a number of tactical tasks, drills on inspection of civilians and cars, mining and so forth. Ukrainians will learn how to inspect civilians, conduct sweep operations, seize buildings, control fire and other things necessary for peacekeepers and troops deployed in the zones of local conflicts in accordance with NATO standards.

It is also planned that several Ukrainian marine officers will pass basic training course in British Military Advisory Training Team (BMATT) in Vyskov (Czech Republic), added Flag Ukrainy.
