Ukrainian Navy confuted the information spread by some media sources that Ukrainian missile boat had allegedly sunken.

As was said to Interfax-Ukraine in the Navy Press Center, that information was in contrary to facts, since missile boat Uman was no longer in inventory of Ukrainian Navy.

According to official release of Ukrainian Navy, missile boat Uman was written-off in 2008 as indicated in report on technical condition, withdrawn from use, and handed over to a state enterprise for dismantling.

Ukrainian Navy Press Center expressed regrets that some media agencies "took up" unverified information.
