Ukrainian naval aviation started flights

Ukrainian naval aviation started flights 16.02.2010
Last week, first in current year, the scheduled flights started in Ukrainian Navy's Saki Naval Aviation Brigade.

During flights naval pilots had a task to recover and maintain flight skills in common weather conditions day and night.

The flights were performed on Be-12 and An-26 aircrafts and Mi-14 helicopter. In total, pilots carried out 16 flights and were airborne for 9 hours and 18 minutes.

Scheduled parachute jumps were also conducted at Saki brigade. Rescue paraborne group performed 14 jumps, 7 of them in the daytime and 7 – in night.

Further flights of Ukrainian naval aviation are scheduled on this week.
