MPK-134 Muromets is a Project 1124M Small ASW Ship (SAS).

REGISTRATION

Black Sea Fleet

CONSTRUCTION, NAME

The ship was laid down at Leninskaya Kuznitsa shipyard (Kiev); commissioned on March 5, 1983. It had a name of Kievsky Komsomolets since July 27, 1982; MPK-134 – since February 15, 1992. The ship obtained a name of Muromets on April 5, 1999.

MILESTONES

In 1985, 1986, 1989 and 1999 being a part of search-strike ASW force, the ship won a Navy Commander's Prize for antisubmarine warfare.

In July 2007 it cooperated with surface ship division in combat training activities.
