Northern Fleet

CONSTRUCTION, NAME

The destroyer was laid in 1988 at Zhdanov Shipyard No 190 (now called Severnaya Verf Shipyard) in Leningrad with the name of Besstrashny; launched in 1991; commissioned in 1993. Since 2004 the destroyer is known as Admiral Ushakov.
