Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief Vice Admiral Viktor Chirkov held a meeting with representatives of defense-oriented companies today in St. Petersburg.

Vice Admiral V. Chirkov met with director generals and chief designers of companies and bureaus cooperating with Russian Navy.

The participants discussed perspectives for production of new surface ships, nuclear-powered and conventional submarines.

"Russian Navy's posture regarding new ships and submarines will be crystal clear. It will imply integrated approach.
