Northern Fleet Deputy Commander to head Black Sea Fleet

Vice Admiral Vladimir Korolev will be officially named to a post of Black Sea Fleet Commander in August 2010, reports RIA Novosti referring to a top-ranking official of Russian Navy Main HQ.
Current BSF Commander Vice Admiral Alexander Kletskov will be retired in August because of turning 55 which is the age limit for Vice Admirals (General Lieutenants) in the Russian Armed Forces. Presently, Alexander Kletskov is on scheduled leave; duties of BSF Commander are carried out by his deputy, Vice Admiral Sergei Menyailo.
Vladimir Korolev holds a post of Northern Fleet Deputy Commander since Nov 2007.
Previously, he served at NF as submarine division deputy commander, submarine division commander, and submarine squadron commander.
