Russian Black Sea Fleet (BSF) command on Dec 6 congratulated Ukrainian naval servicemen on 20th anniversary of Ukrainian Armed Forces.

"We closely cooperate in providing security at southern frontiers of our countries and conduct full-scale interaction. Joint exercises, consultations, and festivities expand our partnership", said BSF Deputy Commander Yury Orekhovsky addressing the solemn assembly of Russian and Ukrainian naval servicemen.

The fleet's deputy commander expressed hope that "such weighted and business approach" in relations between mariners of the two countries would be preserved in future.

The meeting was followed by the concert given by Russian and Ukrainian song and dance collectives.

Administration of Sevastopol, veterans, and public figures also congratulated Ukrainian servicemen on the remarkable date.
