Several delegations from Turkish defense-oriented shipbuilding companies will visit Azerbaijan in the nearest future, reported APA referring to Turkey's Secretary of Defense Industry.

The delegations will discuss cooperation issues in the area of military shipbuilding with Azerbaijan authorities. Also, they are going to exchange opinions on co-production of warships and other vessels.

Turkish company Yonca Onuk is about to sent its delegation to Azerbaijan in the nearest days, reports APA. The mentioned company presently holds talks on shipbuilding for Caspian states. Once the negotiations are successful, Yonca Onuk can start to implement orders of Azerbaijan and other Caspian countries and build custom-tailored vessels with displacement up to 500 tons.

It should be pointed out that Yonca Onuk is specialized in production of Onuk class composite-hulled boats. Boats presently built by this company are used in navies and coast guards of many countries of the Persian Gulf, Georgia, and Pakistan.
