Informal visit of two Chinese warships to Vladivostok, Russia finished on Aug 2. The task unit consisting of frigate Louyang and training ship Zheng He was headed by China's Northern Fleet Commander Vice Admiral Tian Zhong.

During the 4-day visit, Chinese official delegation and servicemen took part in festivities of Russian Navy Day and went sightseeing around Vladivostok.

On Aug 1 Chinese delegation boarded the flagship of Russia's Pacific Fleet (PF) Guard missile cruiser Varyag. In 2009, Varyag participated in international naval parade held in Chinese port Quingdao on the occasion of 60th anniversary of the People's Liberation Army's Navy.

Later on that day, Vice Admiral Tian Zhong gave a banquette on board training ship Zheng He. Among attendants was Chief of Pacific Fleet HQ Rear Admiral Sergei Avakiants.

During the visit Chinese sailors chatted with their Russian colleagues and played a friendly soccer game. Locals of Vladivostok were allowed to visit Chinese warships.

The visit of Chinese task unit to Vladivostok was conducted within the framework of international military cooperation between Russia and China.
